One of the projects Best-seller is a part of is named “DEvelopment of professional Skills for the use of Urban solid Wastes and Organic Wastes in agricultural” or DESUWOW, in cooperation with Across Atlantic Development Ltd from the UK https://www.facebook.com/acrossatlanttic. Beside Best-seller, partner organizations on this project are: AIEG from Turkey https://www.facebook.com/infoaieg, Sustainable development studies group from Belgium https://www.facebook.com/sdsgofficial, Freguesia de Vila Boa do Bospo from Portugal https://www.facebook.com/jfvilaboadobispo, supported by the Uludag University Assoc from Turkey.
To overcome waste disposal and greenhouse gas emissions, the only solution is alternative energy production from biomass, agricultural and organic fraction from municipal solid waste (MSW). Biomass energy production can create new employment opportunities, increase incomes and support rural development.
DESUWOW’s objectives are:
– Identify and analyse targeted needs and competences
– Development of an innovative and modern training programme and programme
– Carrying out a set of targeted pilot trials and transferred e-learning content
– Developing new professional skills related to biomass energy
– Promoting the EU’s RES demands
– Awareness-raising and transfer of innovation for the re-use of waste in the EU
– Promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and employment in rural areas – supporting the improvement of the quality of life in rural areas and reducing migration
– Promoting environmental awareness

Да би се превазишло одлагање отпада и емисија стакленичких гасова, једино решење је алтернативна производња енергије из биомасе, пољопривредне и органске фракције из комуналног чврстог отпада (МСВ). Производња енергије из биомасе може створити нове могућности запошљавања, повећати приходе и подржати рурални развој.
Циљеви DESUWOW-а су:
– Утврдити и анализирати циљане потребе и компетенције
– Развој иновативног и модерног програма и програма обуке
– Спровођење низа циљаних пилот испитивања и пренетих садржаја е-учења
– Развијање нових професионалних вештина повезаних са енергијом биомасе
– Промовисање захтева ЕУ за обновљиве изворе енергије
– Подизање свести и пренос иновација за поновну употребу отпада у ЕУ
– Промовисање иновација, предузетништва и запошљавања у руралним областима – подршка побољшању квалитета живота у руралним подручјима и смањење миграција
– Промовисање еколошке свести
